The Illinois International Accounting Symposium
Held at Kozminski Business School, Warsaw, June 5-7 2008
The 2008 annual symposium of The International Journal of Accounting was held in Warszawa (Warsaw), Poland on June 5-7, 2008.
The symposium is sponsored by the Kozminski Business School, Warszawa, the Zimmerman Center of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Elsevier, the publisher of the Journal. This year the conference received great support from BDO Numerica and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The symposium is a place where top research in accounting from around the world is brought together. In a globalising world accounting becomes a common language. This year the discussions will center on issues of accounting standard harmonisation, accounting for intangibles, financial reporting and managerial behaviour.
